I got a surprise visit from my cousin Nat today! She is so anthropolgie, so how could I not shoot her? We went exploring and found a train graveyard. It was so worth the trek through the prickly field. What a great day!
This past weekend I went down to Zion National Park and camped for the very first time! I also went on my first "real" hike. It's called the Subway. It is a 7 mile hike in a huge canyon that is GORGEOUS. It took us 8 hours total because of all the series of obstacles in the canyon. We repelled, shimmied down rocks, slid down waterfalls, swam through freezing coves of water, and climbed on rocks across rivers. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!
My first OFFICIAL photoshoot in Utah! I was seriously starting to feel creatively deprived because I 1) had no models 2) had no places to shoot. My model, Alex, and I went down to the canyon and found the perfect little spot. Here's to (hopefully) the start of a new place, new ideas, and a whole lot more where this came from!
I am having a vote on watermarks! I experimented and made a few, hoping to make one that really portrayed me as a photographer. All of the options can be in black OR white (as shown in the very last picture) so do not determine your favorite based on color! Also, do not vote for your favorite PHOTO. I merely put the watermark on some senior pictures I took to show how I would use it normally. Alright, go crazy. Vote for your favorite!
